Challenge
Tracking at road speed
Keeping a moving car framed while holding altitude over tree-lined roads with patchy GPS and changing light.
Overview
A regional dealership group wanted launch imagery for three new models that felt nothing like a forecourt shoot. Our answer: real roads, real landscapes, and a drone that could keep pace with the cars.
We scouted two forest corridors and one lakeside route, timed the light for late afternoon, and flew chase patterns that framed the cars against sweeping bends and open water.
Approach
Challenge
Keeping a moving car framed while holding altitude over tree-lined roads with patchy GPS and changing light.
Solution
We rehearsed each bend with an empty road, then flew timed chase and orbit passes while spotters managed traffic windows.
Outcome
Forty graded stills spanning forest corridors, open highway and lakeside — used across showroom screens, print and social.
